2. What data we collect

sensweight.com runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. We only collect personal data that you choose to type into the one form on this site:

We do not request or accept file uploads through this form. If you send us documents by email instead, that exchange is handled as ordinary business correspondence, not through this website.

3. Why we process it, and our legal basis

We process what you submit for one purpose: to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare a quote or put you in touch with a dealer.

Processed under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract — or, where no contract is in prospect, Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business inquiries.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it to any third party.

4. How your submission is handled

When you submit the form, your data is sent to a backend service we operate (AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway, in the eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) AWS region) which:

sends one notification email containing your submission to our sales inbox, and
sends one automatic confirmation email back to the address you provided,

both via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). Your submission is not written to any database. The backend keeps no persistent copy — once the two emails are sent, the only copies that exist are the emails themselves, in our company mailbox and in the mailbox you submitted.

5. Bot protection on the form

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether a submission comes from a person or an automated script. To make that check, the widget loads from Cloudflare and sends your IP address together with technical signals about your browser and device to Cloudflare, and may store a short-lived token in your browser for the check itself. Cloudflare does not receive the contents of the form, and the check runs only on the page that carries the form.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It passes through the following processors, strictly to operate the site and deliver the emails above:

Loading a file from another company’s server sends your browser’s IP address to that company as a normal part of the request. We have removed that from ordinary page loads: this site’s typefaces and the poster images on its video tiles are served from our own servers, not from Google, so simply reading a page contacts no third party at all. Two things still do, and both are limited:

the demo dashboards load their charting library from jsDelivr — on those pages only; and
a video loads from youtube-nocookie.com when, and only when, you press play on it. Until then nothing about you reaches YouTube. Once you do, YouTube’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that playback.

Neither jsDelivr nor YouTube receives any of the form data.

7. How long we keep it

Draft placeholder — confirm before relying on this. We have not yet adopted a formal retention schedule for this mailbox. Until one exists, submitted emails should be treated as retained only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the inquiry and complete any resulting business relationship, and deleted afterwards. A firm number here (for example “12 months” or “3 years”) is a business and legal decision, not something to take from the code.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

request access to the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request erasure of your data;
object to or request restriction of our processing;
request a copy of your data in a portable format; and
withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

9. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The only browser storage involved is the short-lived token the Turnstile bot check may use, described in section 5. If this changes in the future — for example if we add analytics — this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires it, a cookie consent notice will be added before any non-essential cookie is set.

10. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
