Terms of Service

The terms on which you may use sensweight.com, and what the information on it does and does not commit us to.

These terms govern your use of sensweight.com, the product website of Unified Cloud Sensors, s.r.o. They cover the website itself — what you may do with it and how far you can rely on what it says. They are not the terms on which we sell, install, or support a system: those are agreed separately in writing, in a quote and order confirmation. By using this site you accept these terms.

“We”, “us” and “our” mean that company. “You” means anyone using this site.

2. What this site is

sensweight.com is an information and enquiry site for industrial weighing monitoring systems. There is no account to create, nothing to buy or pay for here, and no customer portal — the only thing you can submit is a request for a quote or a dealer contact.

The site is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed at consumers or at anyone under 16.

3. Product information, specifications and figures

We try to keep the technical content on this site accurate and current, but it is descriptive, not contractual:

  • Specifications may change. Ranges, accuracies, connectivity options, and certifications are typical values for the current generation of a product and may be revised without notice.
  • The component catalogue is illustrative. The product listings on Products describe the categories we supply; they are not a priced catalogue, and availability of any particular part is confirmed only in a quote.
  • Savings and return-on-investment figures are estimates. Any payback period, annual saving, or ROI percentage shown on this site is modelled from a reference installation. Your result depends on your site, your equipment, and your operating costs. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a financial outcome.
  • Photographs are illustrative. Some images on this site are licensed stock photography used to illustrate an industry or application, not photographs of a UCS installation.

The binding description of what you receive is the quote and order confirmation for your project — not this website. Where the two differ, the quote governs.

4. The demonstration dashboards

This site includes demonstration dashboards that show how UCS Cloud presents sensor data. The readings in them are generated in your own browser for illustration. They are not live measurements, and they are not data from any customer installation. Figures, alarm states, and trends shown there say nothing about the performance of a real system or a real site.

The demonstration is provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and is not part of any product we supply.

5. Requesting a quote or a dealer

The form on How to Buy is a request for contact. Submitting it:

  • places you under no obligation and costs nothing;
  • is not an order, and does not create a contract. A contract arises only when we confirm an order in writing;
  • is not a binding offer by us — any price, lead time, or configuration we discuss afterwards is binding only once issued as a written quote and accepted within its stated validity.

Please submit accurate contact details, and only submit someone else’s details if you are authorised to do so. What happens to the data you submit is described in our Privacy Policy. We may decline or stop responding to a request, including an abusive or automated one.

6. Pilot installations

Where this site offers a free 30-day pilot, that means exactly what it says: we lend you the system for a month at no cost, and you are not charged for the pilot period.

Placeholder — pilot terms are not settled. The conditions of a pilot loan (what is included, who installs and removes the equipment, who bears shipping and insurance, what happens to the hardware and the recorded data at the end, and what happens if it is damaged or lost) are not defined on this website and have not been agreed as standard terms. A pilot is arranged in a separate written agreement for each site. Do not treat this section as those terms.

7. Sale, delivery, warranty and support

Placeholder — deliberately not stated here. Prices, payment and delivery terms, installation responsibilities, the warranty period and what it covers, calibration and service obligations, cloud service availability, and the handling of your measurement data in UCS Cloud are all commercial and legal terms that belong in the quote, order confirmation, and service agreement for a specific project. No standard set of them has been adopted and published yet, and this website does not create any. Until standard terms exist, the documents issued for your project are the only source of them.

8. Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics, and design of this site are owned by Unified Cloud Sensors, s.r.o. or used under licence. You may read, print, and share pages for your own evaluation and internal business use. You may not republish, sell, or present our content as your own, and you may not copy the site’s design or code.

SensWEIGHT® is a registered trademark of Unified Cloud Sensors, s.r.o. Our monitoring and diagnostic methodology for industrial weighing systems is protected by European patent EP 4 524 526. Other product names used on this site are ours; any third-party names, trademarks, or logos referred to belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those products.

Nothing on this site grants you any licence or right to use our trademarks, patent, or content beyond what is stated above.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, its hosting, or its form backend;
  • interfere with the site’s operation, including by overloading it or by circumventing the bot check on the request form;
  • submit false, abusive, or automated form submissions, or use the form to send unsolicited marketing to us;
  • scrape or bulk-download the site for republication, or use its content to train a model presented as your own product information;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access to anyone doing any of the above, without notice.

10. Links to other sites

This site links to pages we do not control, including unifiedcloudsensors.com, our LinkedIn page, and third-party video hosting. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we link to, and a link is not an endorsement.

11. Availability and accuracy of the site

We provide this website as-is and as-available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it — including any page, figure, or demonstration — at any time without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty of any kind in respect of the website itself. This does not affect any warranty given for a product or service you actually buy from us, which is governed by the documents referred to in section 7.

12. Liability

Placeholder — needs a legal decision. How far our liability for use of this website is excluded or limited, and the wording that can lawfully achieve that under Czech law, is a question for our legal adviser, not something to draft from the code. Until this section is written and reviewed, no limitation of liability is claimed here, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud.

What personal data this site collects, why, who processes it, and your rights under the GDPR are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

The working assumption is that these terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic and that the Czech courts have jurisdiction, as that is where the company is established. That assumption has not been confirmed with legal advice, and the choice of court — and how it applies to customers in other countries — is a legal decision. This section needs to be settled before these terms are treated as binding.

We may update these terms as this site changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and the version published here at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
